» Catherine Tse - Amazing experience!

I dined here about a year and half ago and was so amazed. The food was pretty good, but the experience of dining in complete darkness was downright cathartic. You could hear people everywhere, laughing, knocking things down and trying to guess what was around them, all without so much as the glow from an "exit" sign to help. No candles, no cell phones, no digital cameras. Just utter darkness.

The food tasted so much more intense as well. Without any visual clues, we relied solely on our tastebuds, and they were fooled a few times. When we finished our meal and left the dark dining area, we were given a "key" to our cryptic menu and figured out what we had been eating.

Apparently, it's a very popular spot for blind dates. happy

You're right: it remains one of my most memorable dining experiences ever.

Boy, isn't that the truth about tastebuds being fooled. We had a wonderful time reading the post-meal menu explaining our dinners. Next time I'm in Berlin, I'm definitely taking whomever I'm with for the experience.
