» Amanda Kendle - Versailles day trip ...

Bridget, I'm heading to Paris for the 2nd time next month, and am trying to remember if Versailles is included in that good Paris Card deal. Or does that Paris Card - I wish I remembered its name - still exist? A couple of years ago it saved me heaps on entrance fees to all the best spots; and I have a feeling Versailles was included in its offerings.

Hi Amanda! Yes, the Paris Pass does include Versailles. The pass is about 39 euros for one day, 99 euros for 3 days and 139 euros for 5 days. Not only does it save you money on your entrance fees, it saves a bunch of time. Visit http://www.paris-pass.com/ for details.

Hi Bridget, thanks for the website. Is this the same as the "Monuments and Museums" card they used to have? I seem to remember it was a lot cheaper last time ... maybe it didn't include transport. Do you know?? Thanks :-)

Hi Amanda, not sure, but I think you're right. It seemed pretty spendy to me, too. I've never actually used one of these - never been that prepared. Ha.
